SpotCheck's mission is to make early skin cancer detection accessible to everyone. Too many people wait months to have a suspicious mole or skin spot evaluated. Too many potential skin cancers are caught later than they should be. We created SpotCheck to make it simple for anyone to take the first step by uploading a photo and getting routed to care quickly.
Our goal is to help people act sooner, with less uncertainty, and with fast access to dermatologists who can evaluate potential skin cancers when it matters most.
SpotCheck gives users a simple, secure way to upload photos of skin concerns such as new or changing skin spots. Submissions receive an initial review, and if your concern appears to need prompt medical attention, we may route it to a licensed local dermatologist for follow-up.
SpotCheck does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Submitting a photo does not guarantee referral or care. It is not a substitute for an in-person evaluation with a qualified medical professional.
Capture: Take a clear photo of your skin concern using our secure interface.
Submit: Answer a few short questions and share optional insurance information.
Connect: If follow-up care is recommended, we help you reach qualified dermatologists quickly.
This simple flow helps people act early without navigating waitlists or confusing appointment systems.
SpotCheck uses privacy-focused technology from the ground up.
Your privacy and safety guide every design decision.
SpotCheck was founded by physicians and engineers who saw firsthand how often potential skin cancers go unchecked simply because access to dermatology is slow. By combining clinical insight with modern technology, our team is dedicated to building tools that help people take action earlier and make skin cancer evaluation easier to access.
